Ahmed Salama, a seasoned IT executive with over 25 years of experience, currently serves as the Solutions Director and Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Egypt. As the country leader for digital transformation and AI, he excels in driving technology-enabled business transformations and advising clients on innovative approaches that drive business value. With a strong track record in leveraging intelligent business solutions, analytics, and AI, Ahmed is skilled at translating complex ideas into compelling narratives for CxO’s. His expertise includes harnessing cloud computing and AI to deliver tangible business value and lead enterprise solutions.


Salama spent most of his career outside Egypt where he had different leadership responsibilities covering financial services, public sector, manufacturing and retail. In 2020, he returned to Egypt to directly contribute to the country’s digital transformation.
