Amin Khairy is the Head of Financial Inclusion & Strategic Partnerships at the CIB. He is in charge of developing and executing the banks’ financial inclusion strategy and enabling access to financial services through the appropriate partnerships. Amin has recently rejoined CIB after a two-year secondment at the Institute of International Finance (IIF) in Washington D.C. where he was part of the Digital Finance team leading the institute’s digital financial inclusion work stream. Amin published several research and advocacy reports focused on advancing policy regulations and utilizing emerging technologies to advance financial inclusion.. Topics ranged from the use of emerging technologies in agent banking to the appropriate use of digital identities within financial service providers to better empower vulnerable segments of the society. Amin has over 14 years of work experience in the fields of SME Risk Management, Finance, Data Analytics & Financial Inclusion at the CIB and holds an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid.
