Islam Shawky

Islam Shawky started his career during his studies at the American University in Cairo (AUC) to build Paymob, which has grown to process millions of transactions and billions of dollars each year. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and is passionate about building innovative large-scale technologies to empower the masses to access financial services. Islam holds a B.Sc. in engineering from AUC.
